Tamil Engineers Foundation (TEF) donated $2000 to the “Country Women's Association of NSW” to help the farmers at “Baradine” who have been affected badly by the recent drought.

The farming town of “Baradine” is about 550 km from Sydney towards Moree. This town has approximately 200 families with a total population less than 1000.

We thank K.V. Ananthan (E86) (TEF NSW Committee Member) who worked behind the scenes to make this happen. This funding announcement was made at the “Enthira Maalai Event” in Sydney in Aug 2019.

TEF made a commitment a few years ago to spend up to 5% of the total annual collection (income) and implement (min two) humanitarian projects locally (Aust) and other overseas countries on a yearly basis to help the affected and less fortunate families & children. We have done similar projects in the past

We thank you all for your great support.
